What started a simple correspondence developed into a special relationship between our program and the directors of The Elaborate End of Robert Ebb…

Dear Matthieu ,
I want to sincerely thank you for your work with The Elaborate End of Robert Ebb. I have used this film as a teaching tool for my art students for years. The exercise involves them watching your movie and then creating tight sketches for a movie poster for your film. It has been very successful as an introduction into creating movie posters, discussing how to use lighting to create mood, and great visual storytelling. After watching the movie more than a hundred times I have to tell you, I’ve never tired of it, and my students love it as well. Thank you and your film for being an inspiration to myself and my students for all these years.
This is our school art website, www.brhsart.com. If you want to share any words of encouragement, I’d be happy to pass them along to our students.

Then they sent us this wonderful care package that had promotional postcards, two figurines with removable teeth, and DVDs...
This is what the students created as part of a jumpstart project based upon the movie.
